New Youth Center in Koura
The Local Committee of the Lebanese Red Cross in Koura (North Lebanon) has opened a center for the youth granted by the Kettaneh family. The opening was made in the commemoration of the anniversary of the death of the late Rose Kettaneh, one of the Lebanese Red Cross establishers in the presence of the President Sheikh Sami El Dahdah, the head of the Local Committee in Koura Mr. Hind Saba, the committee members, and the Kettaneh family.

Mrs. Miray Jreij, the responsible of the youth in the branch has made a speech during the opening ceremony, in which she talked about the role of the youth in activating the work of the Lebanese Red Cross. Also, the head of the Youth department Mr. Nadim Hetti introduced the activities of the youth. Mrs. Saba thanked all the supporters and the contributors and named the center "Rose Kettaneh Youth Center".

At the end of the ceremony, the president Sheikh El Dahdah made a speech in which he talked about the importance of giving and volunteering inside the Lebanese Red Cross. He praised the efforts of the volunteers in Lebanon and thanking all activists in the field and he addressed special thanks to Kettaneh Family considering their giving as their immortality. Finally, the daughter of the late Mrs. Mona Kettaneh Jreij thanked in the name of the family this generous gesture.
