A Donation of First Aid Materials from the Qatari Red Crescent
The Lebanese Red Cross, First Aid Center in Mreijeh (Southern Suburb) received a donation of first aid materials from the Qatari Red Crescent. The donation valued at 20 thousands American dollars was delivered from the Assistant General Secretary of the Qatari Red Crescent Mr. Rashed El Mohanadi in the First Aid Administration in Baabda in the presence of the head of First Aid Teams department Mrs. Rosy Boulos, the head of Public Relations and communication department Mr. Ghaleb El Ayoubi, the director of the department Mr. Ayad El Mounzer, and chiefs and volunteers in the First Aid Center of Baabda and Mreijeh.

Mrs. Boulos thanked the Qatari Red Crescent and praised the importance of cooperation between the two Societies in the service of humanity. Also, she talked about the role of Qatar in supporting the Lebanese Red Cross and Lebanon during the Israeli war on Lebanon in July-August 2006. She emphasized the importance of these assistances in improving the quality of the first aid service given to citizens and she stressed on the permanent need for such materials to reduce the suffering of victims.

Mr. Rashed El Mohanadi affirmed the commitment of Qatar and the Qatari Red Crescent to supporting and help the Lebanese Red Cross and the Lebanese people because of the brotherhood bonds among the people of the two countries. These assistances express the appreciation of the Qatari Red Crescent to the efforts and the sacrifice of the first aiders in the Lebanese Red Cross who devoted themselves to their work beyond the duty.
