Training Session of Journalists
The Lebanese Red Cross and the An-nahar Training and Research Center organized a training session for journalists in the Lebanese Red Cross. The session was supported by the delegation of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

The one day session, gathered 19 volunteers from almost all regions, included training and informative courses. The manager of the An-nahar training Center Dr. Jean Karam lectured about the basics of press writing and its different kinds. The photographer in the Annahar newspaper, Mr. Mahmoud El Tawil, lectured about press photographing, its importance, conditions, and the difficulties of the profession. The editor of “Nahar Ashabab” Mr. Ghassan Hajjar lectured about news and press coverage. The director of public relations and communication department in the Lebanese Red Cross, Mr. Ayad El Monzer, lectured about journalism in the Lebanese Red Cross “Photo, Slogan and Emblem”

The session is a part of a series of training sessions held by the Lebanese Red Cross with the aim of developing the capabilities of the volunteers and the workers in the field.
