The Lebanese Red Cross website winning of the Golden Award
The Lebanese Red Cross Website "www.redcross.org.lb" has won the Golden Award taking the first rank of the national and international non-governmental organizations in the ceremony that was organized by "Lebanon-web-award" to announce the contest's results in order to choose the best Lebanese website for 2008 designed by Lebanese and international companies which were taking part in the contest.

The ceremony was set up at Regency Palace Hotel where representatives attended from eight national and international companies, foundations, organizations, and associations. One-twenty webs were nominated from about twenty-five category including media, advertising , finance, services, production, industry, fashion, art, education, teaching, health, real-estate, sport, organizations, hotels ,tourism, connections, and power…etc…

Mr. Ghaleb Ayoubi, the head of public relation and communication department, received the award with the presence of Anne Catherine Mor Carlson, the delegation’s head of the international federation of the red cross and red crescent societies; this delegation is a financer for establishing and generating the website’s project. During the ceremony, Mr. Ayoubi thanked the caretakers for constructing it, since it has great positive effect in promoting for electronic webs and its owners' act and in catalyzing the industrial development of communication and networking process. In addition, he thanked the international federation for its unique achievement as an essential partner in constructing the Lebanese Red Cross website. He also praised the “Born Interactive Company” for its technical efforts in designing the website.
