Wafaa Michel Soleiman opens Batroun’s handcrafted exhibition

 Wafaa Michel Solieman, the Lebanese first lady, has accepted the local committee invitation of the Lebanese Red Cross branch in Batroun (South Lebanon) for the handcraft and store annual exhibition opening which was held at the center.

Mr. Sami Dahdah, the Lebanese Red Cross president, received the First Lady with the presence of the local committee’s head, Miss Claude Darazi, in addition to local committee members, volunteers, and others.

After cutting the rope, Mrs. Solieman strolled in the exhibition and its stands, while she was admiring the handcrafts exhibited, and encouraging the jobs where its revenue goes back to human services and activities’ support. She praised the volunteers ‘organization granting that they exert in the worst circumstances; she also cherished the organization’s role which is considered a symbol for human services and unlimited granting hoping it more success in its various duties.

During the opening ceremony, Miss Darazi has made a speech saying that the exhibition opening this year had a unique peculiarity which is the presence of Mrs. Wafaa Michel Solieman. Also, she talked about the handmade exhibition works and the Lebanese store that were hand made, where the hands combine to work days and nights. She added at the end “this work aims to support Lebanese human Red Cross services and activities”.
