In accordance with the Lebanese Red Cross strategy and working plan, ten emergency cars have been showed and a warehouse has been opened which were rehabilitated and prepared by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent in a ceremony held at the Lebanese Red Cross headquarters (Spears Street) with the presence of Mrs. Anne Catherine Mor Carlson, Mr. Sami dahdah, the president of the Lebanese red cross, and some members and volunteers.

During the ceremony, all the speeches concentrated on the role that the Lebanese Red Cross and its volunteers play in serving those who are in need without any discrimination and with an absolute neutrality, and insured on the importance of carrying on the human mission. It also focused on the importance of supporting and building capacities that affect positively  the Lebanese Red Cross career and performance activation, especially for being ready and confronting the difficulties. This will strengthen its position and give an extra dimension to the Lebanese Red Cross and Red Crescent International Movement and support its image.
