Planting Olive Trees at Antlias-Nakkash
As a recognition for the Lebanese Red Cross volunteers’ granting, senior students of the American Community School planted eighty four trees with the cooperation of al Rabyeh200 municipality and some rescuers in Antilias-Nakkash center that belongs to the Lebanese Red Cross. The students were welcomed by members from the Lebanese Red Cross and social and local committees.

This project is an initiative from the student Carine Sarkis who is preparing her graduation project under the slogan "GROW GREEN" which aims to the reforestation of Lebanon after fires had caught its wealth of forests in 2007. Money have been collected throughout two years to carry out the project and 84 transplants have been bought and distributed among a number of students after the Lebanese red cross organization had adopted the planting of these trees around the center.
