Within the frame of the Lebanese Red Cross ongoing blood bank services, the total number of blood units donated was 1274 units of the various groups during July 2009. On the other hand, the Lebanese Red Cross delivered 1273 units to the patients in hospitals according to the need.

These units were distributed after the lab tests have been conducted to ensure the safety and purity of blood given to the needy.

In order to respond for all blood requests, the Lebanese Red Cross reminds the public to donate blood from all categories in all blood transfusion centers in Spears, Altabaris, Antelias, Jounieh, Tripoli, Saida, Beiteddine, Zahlah, Nabatiyah.
