A delegation from the Lebanese Customs Authority visited the Lebanese Red Cross headquarters in Beirut- spears preceded by General Customs Director Retired Staff Brigadier General, Asaad Ghanem, and includes the Head of the Bureau of the Directorate-General Shafiq Mereih, the head of the financial department, Mrs. Carroll Abu Zeid, and Colonel Aiman Ibrahim. The delegation was greeted by President Sami El Dahdah , Mr. Ghaleb Ayoubi, head of Public Relation and communication, and Mr. Ayad El Mounzer, the director of the department. Brigadier Ghanem donated, by the name of the Lebanese customs, a financial donation to Sheikh El Dahdah to support and assist the humanitarian activities of the Lebanese Red Cross.

Mr. Dahdah thanked the Lebanese Customs Administration showing appreciation for them, and praising this humanitarian honest initiative, where he considered this generous gesture from the Lebanese customs as a good example to emulate, despite of the difficult economic circumstances.
