The Italian troop operating within the UNIFIL organized, in the south of Lebanon with the cooperation of the Lebanese Red Cross blood bank in spears, a blood donation campaign in its location- Nakoura. A big number of soldiers and officers responded to the invitation of the campaign.

The head of blood bank, Mrs. Hala jabr, has supervised the campaign with the aid of a medical team related to the central blood bank in addition to Emergency Medical Team from Tyr. Mrs. Jabr praised this humanitarian initiative with a deep thanks and appreciation.

The laboratory tests will be done for the donated units to verify the safety and purity of blood before giving it to patients at hospitals.
