The Lebanese Red Cross opened a center for Emergency Medical Teams in Baabda, renovated and equipped by the International Committee of the Red Cross in a ceremony held at the Center and was attended by Head of delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross, George Comninos, with a delegation from the Committee, Head of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Lebanon, Ole Hauge, and Head of the Emergency Medical Teals, Rosie Paul, Director of Emergency Teams and Disaster Management Coordinator, George Ketteneh, and a number of friends.

During the ceremony, speeches emphasized that rehabilitating the Emergency Medical Center in Baabda is due to the efforts and cooperation of a number of donors and because of the cooperation between the ICRC and Lebanese Red Cross, and medals were distributed to shareholders in the re-restoration.
