Activities for Disseminating Humanitarian Norms
In an atmosphere of joy and pleasure, the volunteers of Youth department in the Lebanese Red Cross Furn Alshebak Branch organized an activity which aims to introduce the rules and provisions of the International Humanitarian Law through a kermis attended by more than 1200 children of the region between the age of 7 and 14. It included several games to teach children the non-violence, peace and the humanitarian concepts and its norms. At the end of the activity, gifts were distributed on the participated children.

In this context, the volunteers of Youth department in Baabda center organized two educational and entertaining activities. The first was at Hadath Town attended by more than 700 children between the age of 8 and 14 where they were introduced to the Red Cross principles and concepts and the humanitarian norms and its values. The second was a tour bus, decorated with beautiful decorations and equipped with a sound system in order to hear songs, walked through Houmal, Aaraya, Batshay, Shahrour Valley, and Haret Alset where the children of the region gathered in places and certain times of the day to watch a mobile puppet theater and received gifts. Almost 1000 kids benefited from this activity.
