A charity event in Australia
Through a humanitarian initiative, the women’s bible Committee in Sydney-Australia headed by Ms. Maggie Khoury established a charity event which proceeds returned to the Lebanese Red Cross. Sheikh Sami Al Dahdah, the president of the Society attended the event in addition to a large number of the Lebanese community in Australia of all categories of official, consulate and cultural figures, and financial activists, supporters and friends.

The ceremony was opened by sentimental-humanitarian verses read by the poet Fouad Nohaman Al Khoury, then was a speech of Bishop Ad Abi Karam and the Lebanese Ambassador Dr. Jean Daniel said by Anwar Harb and Miss Lebanon in Australia Diana Alshedyak and Ms. Khoury who thanked all the supporters and praised the humanitarian work of the Lebanese Red Cross, then Sheikh Sami Al Dahdah thanked the committee and the attendees and emphasized the humanitarian message of the Lebanese Red Cross in supporting human without discrimination, stressing on the importance of the Lebanese in foreign countries and his pioneering role.
