Opening a new EMS center and various activities
The local committee of the Lebanese Red Cross in Hermel- Bekaa organized a ceremony in the hall of Alasad- the public library on the occasion of the opening of the new EMS center, in the presence of the former minister Talal Alsahli, the former deputy Yehya Shamas, the president of the Lebanese Red Cross Sheikh Sami Al dahdah, and a number of the Executive Committee, managers and officials, and others. The ceremony included a documentary about Hermel branch and its social, Medical, and EMS services that are provided to people in Hermel and the neighboring regions, and then there were speeches for the head of the local committee Haj Ahmad Iskandar, the head of Hermel Municipalities Federation Haj Mostafa Taha, Sheikh Sami Al Dahdah, and the director of EMS Georges Kettani.  After the presenting of the Medals of Honor, the ribbon of the opening was cut and a tour was made in the sections and there was a luncheon on Assi River. 

On the other hand, the EMS center in Hermel organized two Visa sessions where 32 paramedics graduated from it, and accompanied the visit of Patriarch Bishara Alraei in Hermel. Also the volunteers of Youth center participated in many activities such as: sport camps, courses on the rights of refugees, YABC, Assi and Hermel clean-up campaign, and organizing the marathon in Hermel and Beirut.
