5 years on the departure of the martyr Michael Jubeili
Like every year, Zahle Center – bekaa commemorates the fifth annual anniversary of the death of the paramedic Michael Georges Jubeili. The memory began at 4:30 P.M where six ambulances carried about 40 paramedics to Ryak which is the martyr’s hometown, where a garland of flowers was placed on the tomb in the presence of the martyr’s family. Next, everybody went to the church of Saint Charbel in Zahle where prayers were made for the spirit of the martyr in the presence of about 350 people.

Then a cedar tree carrying the martyr’s name was planted in the campus of the monastery. After that everyone headed to the hall of the church where a documentary film about the achievements of Zahle center was shown, and then everybody moved to Michael Jubeili Building where Medals of Honor were distributed on the martyr’s family and the family of the Lebanese Red Cross. Next, a flame was lightened near the monument of the martyrs of the Lebanese Red Cross, and in an effective atmosphere, the head of the center Joseph Daaoud and Nicola Jubeili the son of the martyr placed a garland of flower and raised the flag of the Red Cross.
