A meeting in Kfardebian
    The local committee of Jounieh branch in the Lebanese Red Cross organized a meeting at the EMS center in Kfardebian- Kesserwan attended by the mayor of Kfardebian Mr. Jean Akiki , the Mayor of the town Mr. Waseem Mhanna and members of the municipal council, and from the Lebanese Red Cross attended Ms. Badiaa Abi Lammeh the head of the Local Committee accompanied by a delegation from the local committee, the member of the Executive Committee head of the planning and Development Department lawyer Youssef Sfeir , and the director of EMs Mr. Abdullah Zougheib , in addition to a number of regional and local administrators and officials and paramedics of the center. 

    The meeting included an open dialogue on the prospect of cooperation between the Lebanese Red Cross and the municipality of Kfardebian and the sustainable financing of Kfardebian center, the development of snowy and mountain rescue technique, daytime rescuing, and how to cover all the emergency requests in various Kesserwan villages. At the end of the meeting it was stressed unanimously that the EMS center in Kfardebian will be the basic start of the Red Cross future humanitarian work in Kesserwan under the supervision of the branch and the management of EMS team, also it was agreed to develop a future strategy which can provide the continuity of the center and the sustainability of its services in collaboration with the Municipality of Kfardebian.
